Request for Grants July 2009
The mission of the Douglas County Community Foundation (DCCF) is “to promote the highest quality of community life by developing philanthropic resources to meet the needs of the Douglas County community. The Foundation serves as a responsible steward for permanent endowments and creates partnerships in philanthropy" In support of our mission, DCCF has established a fund, to be distributed through a competitive grant process, to benefit programs of non-profits who are 501(c)(3)’s serving the Douglas County Community.
DCCF is pleased to announce that grant applications will be accepted until 5:00 pm on August 31, 2009. On or before September 30, 2009, the DCCF will announce which grant requests will be approved for funding. The grants will be $500 each.
The DCCF will accept requests for grant funding only on the following DCCF Grant Application form, which is available at www.DCCF.ORG . Grant applications may be submitted by U.S. Mail to our address or by e-mail (in PDF) to Melissa@dccf.org (see link below for PDF). Organization interviews and/or site visits may be required as part of the grant selection process.
