C.J. Mosman Memorial Fund The family of C.J. Mosman has established a memorial fund in his name, in order to construct a new pavilion at Metzler Ranch Park. When the park was originally built, the pavilion which was to be located near baseball field #3 was cut from the budget. C.J.’s love of baseball makes the pavilion a perfect project to honor his memory and also benefit the community through beauty and usefulness. C.J., who would have been a Senior this fall, was killed instantly in a car accident on Crowfoot Valley Road on March 15, 2004. He and his family have lived in Castle Rock for nearly ten years. C.J. attended Douglas County High School during his Freshman and Sophomore years, and was attending Chaparral High School in Parker at the time of the accident. He played baseball for 11 years, nine of which were in Douglas County. |

Castle Rock Community Art Fund The Community Art Fund was created by the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce as a legacy for the Castle Rock Artfest. Proceeds donated are to fund outdoor community public art in Castle Rock. |

Leadership Douglas County A program which was created by the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce- the mission of Leadership Douglas County is to develop effective community leaders who will strengthen and enhance a sustainable community. |

Peggy J. Kaye Memorial Scholarship Fund A memorial scholarship to be granted to a senior in the University of Denver Business School who has demonstrated outstanding leadership as an undergraduate. |

The Skurich Memorial Fund The Skurich Memorial fund was established in 2006 in remembrance of Stormy and Joey Skurich, the children of Mick and Joyce Skurich. Both Joey and Stormy passed away after long and courageous fights with cancer. Stormy and Joey were long time residents of Douglas County; attending Elementary School, Junior High School and High School in Castle Rock. Both were quite active in their community throughout their short, but meaningful lives. Stormy was an active Boy Scout, as well as Eagle Scout, and continued to support these organizations, as well as others, into adulthood. It is the wish of their parents, family and friends to continue contributing to the community through this memorial fund.
