Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement
Allison Cusick is the director of philanthropy and community engagement at the Douglas County Community Foundation. Allison brings over 20 years of experience in the philanthropic, non-profit and government sectors to the foundation. Most recently Allison served as the executive director of Delta Dental of Colorado’s foundation and corporate giving program, partnering with Colorado non-profits to fund over $5 million annually to improve oral health. She has also served in grant-making, program management and consultative roles, with a focus on public health, children and families, and strong communities, in both Colorado and the state of Washington. Allison is passionate about working in partnership with community members, non-profits, government and businesses to build strong relationships that open doors of opportunity for every member of our community to thrive and achieve their highest potential.
Allison lives in Castle Rock with her husband, two sons, and their one-year-old yellow lab. Born and raised on a family farm in Oregon, Allison loves the connection to the outdoors and the open spaces that Douglas County offers.
