How we work with you

Nonprofits

We are a resource for our nonprofit partners and provide support through:

PARTNERSHIPS - Connecting local nonprofits with resources and those in need of assistance and pairing corporate donors with their causes.

GRANT FUNDING - Providing nonprofits* with financial resources and regular granting opportunities in order to help them fulfill their missions. This includes working in partnership with Douglas County to manage and administer a variety of private and public grant funds, including the Community Emergency Relief Fund, Philip S. Miller Trust, Douglas Has Heart Fund, Kendrick Castillo Memorial Fund, and settlement funds for the Douglas County Opioid Council.

*Organizations that are eligible to apply for and receive private and public grant funding from DCCF are required to be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing, registered in the state of Colorado, and providing significant services in Douglas County, Colorado.

GUIDANCE - Providing guidance and consultancy services that are shared without charge to help them have the tools and guidance to thrive.

EVENTS - Providing networking and educational events and opportunities that help them better serve their charitable missions.

FUNDRAISING - Offering them a unique and powerful opportunity to raise funds and receive matching donations by managing and assisting participating Douglas County Gives nonprofits through the Colorado Gives Day fundraising program.
