Our Mission: Jumping the hurdles of affordability in mental healthcare, empowering those in need, and breaking the barriers of stigma via community involvement.
Our Vision: To strengthen Douglas County through educating our community about the disparities in availability of quality mental healthcare, by promoting a stigma-free community environment for those seeking treatment, and by removing the financial barriers that stand between our resident families and quality mental healthcare. We strive to empower families in our community to access the support they need, ensuring everyone has the opportunity for wellness and hope.
Who are we?
The Pathway to Hope Fund is a community funded, committee ran, mental health scholarship program. We provide individually granted mental health scholarships to residents of familiar status in Douglas County who have experienced difficulties paying for mental health care and have expressed a desire and need for care. We foster the partnerships of our 501c, our community mental healthcare providers, and our referring community volunteers to educate, to serve, and to inspire.
