Sara Goodwin

Sara Goodwin is a highly collaborative and impact-driven strategic communications leader with a passion for connecting the nonprofit and business sectors and telling their stories of positive social impact. She has decades of diverse experience directing communications strategy in agency, corporate, nonprofit, association, consultative, and quasi-governmental settings. Most recently Sara developed and directed communications strategy and led the corporate social responsibility (CSR) client service for Catalyst Public Affairs. Prior to that, she held positions as the communications director for the Regional Air Quality Council where she directed the award-winning public relations program - Simple Steps. Better Air. - and she directed the national Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner. consumer public relations program for the National Cattlemen's Beef Association.

Sara is active in her community, and in addition to volunteering on the Board of Directors for the Douglas County Community Foundation, she also volunteers on the City of Lone Tree’s Recreation Advisory Committee and the South Metro Denver Chamber's Partners in Philanthropy Group. She holds a master's degree in technical communications from Colorado State University, bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Colorado, and a certificate in CSR from CU Boulder’s Leeds School of Business. Sara resides in Lone Tree with her family.
