Hearts & Hands
The Douglas County Community Foundation (DCCF) has established the Hearts and Hands Fund to address critical needs facing the residents of Douglas County. This Fund will provide annual grants to nonprofit organizations serving the County that are providing solutions to pressing issues affecting residents’ quality of life.

The Skurich Memorial Fund
The Skurich Memorial fund was established in 2006 in remembrance of Stormy and Joey Skurich, the children of Mick and Joyce Skurich. Both Joey and Stormy passed away after long and courageous fights with cancer. Stormy and Joey were longtime residents of Douglas County; attending kindergarten through high school in Castle Rock, and both were quite active in their community throughout their short, but meaningful lives.

Unrestricted Gifts
Unrestricted donations are an option for donors who want to support the Foundation and enable the Board to make discretionary grants to selected nonprofits in Douglas County. This gives the Foundation the greatest latitude to direct grants, based on its assessment of changing community needs.
